The 5-25×56 PM II riflescope is known for its versatility with a large magnification range, and an extremely rugged design. If long range precision is your aim, the PMII allows users to engage targets past 2,100 yards with 26 Mils/65 MOA of elevation, and the best glass on the market.
MTC | Locking Turrets
One of the big features is locking turrets with More Tactile Clicks (MTC). MTC makes it easier for the shooter to quickly count the necessary clicks when adjusting the reticle. For scopes in Mils, every 10th Mil the turrets gives an audible and firm click. The user also has two turns available for elevation adjustment and the second level includes clearly tactile markings. The windage adjustment features an “MTC” function at the engraved 0, the so-called “zero click”.
Locking Turrets Only (Disabled MTC)
One of the limitations of More Tactile Clicks (MTC) is that dialing to the first click before or after the full MIL value becomes more difficult. Schmidt & Bender now offers a service to disable the MTC. This gives customers the flexibility to have locking turrets, without MTC if they desire. Simply choose this option from the dropdown box when placing your order. All of these scopes will be backorder only since this is a service performed on the scope you order.
We sometimes have inventory of factory Non-Illuminated models of this scope. Non-Illuminated models can always be backordered, and are desirable for shooters running left hand bolt action rifles. This is because the left hand bolt can interfere with the illumination knob. The Schmidt and Bender US Service center does provide a service of removing the illumination knob for $200.
