AT-X Forend Bridge
The Accuracy International AT-X Forend Bridge spans the chassis, covering the barrel on the AT-X rifle chassis. This can allow you to run night vision equipment forward of your optic, or simply provide a guard to help avoid contacting the barrel when shooting in compromised shooting positions. Additionally it adds lateral stability to help stabilize the front of the chassis.
** In the picture associated with this product the Red on the rifle is an example of the Long AT-X Forend Bridge in Red from AI. The rifle is a custom color which is Elite Jungle cerakote.
The AT-X Forend bridge comes in the same colors that the Accuracy International AT-X rifle. There is also two different lengths.
Short AT-X Forend Bridge – length is 7.5″
Long AT-X Forend Bridge – length is 15″
We have confirmed if you are running a single piece mount for your optic like a Hawkins Precision Heavy Tactical One Piece Mount, or a Spuhr SP-4006 you normally have enough room under the objective bell of a 56mm scope like our TT525P Tangent Theta to run the full rail, even with scope caps installed. However if you plan to run rings, the clearance will entirely depend on the height of the rings and the location of the mounts on the 20 MOA rail which ships with the Accuracy International AT-X rifle.
Each AT-X Forend bridge comes with mounting hardware and the bridge slides in from the end, and uses the integrated proprietary screw holes in the chassis for mounting, which leave the Keyslots available for mounting other items.
