Used AB Suppressors Raptor
This Raptor does not come with a reflex. It is moderately used, but still functions very well. The life of these suppressors is essentially infinite for the purposes of a normal shooter, and thus it is merely “used” in the cosmetic sense.
All Raptor’s include a reflex credit & endcap. Our 7.62 Raptor’s use a 5/8×24 thread pitch, and our 5.56 Raptors use a 1/2×28 thread pitch. If you need something different, just let us know and we can accommodate your request, but it could result in a time lag.
A Relex is a removable component that moves some of the suppressive volume back over the barrel which increases internal volume without adding to the length of the suppressor. This allows a 6″ suppressor to act more like an 8″ suppressor without adding additional length. A Bull Barrel Reflex can accommodate a 1″ barrel diameter at the muzzle.
Reflex Credit – because there are so many different options, please just let us know what you want in your order comment. We need to know the length, the thread pitch and the barrel size [Standard or Bull]. If you have no need of a Reflex, please specify that in your order comment as “No Reflex“.
The AB Suppressors Raptor is a highly customizable suppression platform. Utilizing innovative designs to change the format of the suppressor, AB has created a system by which users can gain higher suppression while limiting the space taken up by the hardware. The open space within the silencer immediately after the muzzle is called the blast chamber, and it plays a key role in accuracy and suppression. Classically, lengthening this chamber means lengthening the suppressor. AB has standardized the blast chamber size across all Raptor sizes to 2.5 cubic inches, and created a new attachment called the “Reflex” to enable the user to customize the blast chamber volume further.
Due to changes implemented by the ATF the Reflexes can no longer be shipped separate from the suppressor. If you want additional reflexes, please indicate that in your order so we can quote you appropriately.
The Reflex is unique in that it extends backwards over the barrel towards the shooter like a sheath, increasing the volume of the blast chamber without increasing the overall length of the rifle. Furthermore the Raptor ditches baffles in favor of “spirals” which create a more organic gas flow within the suppressor simultaneously limiting back pressure and creating a lower blast tone which contributes to a less abrasive sound. You can purchase the AB Suppressors Raptor with more or less Spirals dependent on desired suppression and length requirements. Additionally the mounting system and end caps are interchangeable, allowing the same suppressor to be used on all rifles of equal or lesser caliber.

Additionally we sell a connector that allow you to use a 1.375×24 TPI semi “standard” thread to use a variety of other mounts called the AB Raptor Adapter.
It is highly recommended to avoid open ended flash hiders as a mounting option in favor of closed brake style mounts to avoid internal damage to the AB suppressor.
