Introducing the ACC Competition Cheekpiece
**NEW MATERIAL 2/27/2024** New smoother material (see pictures) The new material is ABS, which allows chemical smoothing. Please research ABS Acetone chemical smoothing to smooth the cheekpiece even more at home as a DIY project – if this is your goal, we recommend the “Smoother” version.
What Buttstock do I have?
To determine which cheekpiece is right for your MDT chassis, we must determine the hole spacing on the existing cheekpiece. This can be done with calipers to measure from the centers of each of the screws on the top. The image below shows the two different hole spacings. This cheekpiece is designed for buttstocks with 2.0″ hole spacing. Buttstocks with a 2.2″ spacing will not work. If your buttstocks has 2.2″ hole spacing, use this cheekpiece instead.

The Bison Tactical ACC Competition Cheekpiece uses the same design as our winning MPA Competition Cheekpiece with changes to make it specific for the MDT ACC Chassis. The ACC Competition Cheekpiece will also work with the MDT ACC Folding Chassis.
The ACC Competition Cheekpiece should work with any MDT buttstock that has a 2″ on center hole spacing, and which has space to fit the cheekpiece. The ACC Competition Cheekpiece is 4″ long, and measures 1″ from the center of the bolt hole to the end of the cheekpiece. Tested on the Skeleton Rifle Stock X Premiere Standard, or the SRS-X Premier Standard.
The cheekpiece is reversible to fit both left hand and right hand shooters. This also helps if you want a dramatic relocation of the offset center ridge depending on your facial structure.
The new ACC Competition Cheekpiece also uses the existing bolts and nuts to fasten directly to the factory mount points.
The design idea behind the ACC Competition Cheekpiece and the MPA Competition Cheekpiece is to provide a narrow cheek rest that allows you to quickly determine a repeatable cheek position behind the rifle. It may not be the most comfortable cheek rest, but you should be able to determine quickly if your face is in the same position. Consistency in face placement is the goal. Try it out and see how you like it!
